EAST COAST SEMINAR:

Day 1 (The “Capturing Music” Seminar) will take place on Saturday, May 25^th and Day 2 (The “From Shoot To Print” Workshop) will take place on Saturday, May 26^th, both at Jeremy’s studio in Chicopee, MA (located at 165 front St, Chicopee, MA – building D suite 410W).

WEST COAST SEMINAR:

Day 1 (The “Capturing Music” Seminar) takes place on Saturday, June 8^th at SoundCheck Hollywood in West Hollywood, California, located at 8872 West Sunset Blvd West Hollywood, CA 90069.

Day 2 (The “From Shoot To Print” Workshop) takes place on Sunday, June 9^th at PhotoFilmStage in Glendale, California, located at 820 Thompson Ave. #34 Glendale, Ca 91201.

BOTH COASTS – Day 1 hours will be 10am-6pm – afterward, Jeremy will be signing exclusive prints, and copies of his books “Bring The Noise” and “Till Death…”

BOTH COASTS – Day 2 hours will be 11am-5pm

The “Capturing Music” Seminar will focus entirely on doing portrait work with musicians. It will cover the process from setting up the photo shoot, scouting locations, posing, different types of lighting and lighting equipment for different situations, shooting endorsements, promotional images, CD layouts, Magazine layouts, as well as taking you through the process of what you do AFTER the shoot, invoicing, getting repeat business, etc.

The “From Shoot To Print” workshop will consist of a complete photo shoot of the special guest band completed by Jeremy, with various lighting set ups in various locations in and around the studio. Then YOU take over and you do a photo shoot with the band. After shooting the band, Jeremy will load the photos onto his computer and show you everything he does in editing and post-processing to get the image ready to be printed in a magazine, in an ad, or in a CD lay out. You will see what a real-life photo shoot is and Jeremy’s full editing process, from shoot, to print. This is a very personal and very rare opportunity to learn personally from one of music’s most sought-after photographers.

Los Angeles, CA, May 15 2013 – On Monday, May 20^th, Monte Pittman, lead guitarist for Madonna and current solo artist, will jam with students at Pio Pico Middle School in Los Angeles, which is participating in the free Little Kids Rock music program. Moreover, Pittman will be arriving with free instruments for the students, courtesy of Moksha Yoga’s 30-day “Sweat For Change” fundraising Crowdrise challenge, which raised nearly $115,000 for Little Kids Rock to restore and revitalize music education in under-served public schools nationwide.

Little Kids Rock, the United States’ leading nonprofit provider of music education and free instruments to public school children, is currently reaching over 110,000 children with weekly music lessons amidst budget cuts that are eliminating music education from some of the nation’s most disadvantaged public schools. Nearly 3,000 current Little Kids Rock students receive free music education in 125+ Los Angeles/Pasadena.

Moksha Yoga LA, NYC and MNPLS combined their efforts to raise nearly $115,000 as part of a 30-day fundraising challenge on Crowdrise, to help Little Kids Rock bring free musical instruments and lessons to disadvantaged schoolchildren. Pittman, who joined Little Kids Rock’s honorary board in 2009, is going to help them deliver some of the new instruments that the funds have purchased.

“One of the greatest gifts from being a musician is the ability to help others by what you have been blessed with,” Pittman says.

Pittman’s initial claim to fame was his role as the “Guitar Teacher to the Stars,” teaching British film director, Guy Ritchie and his then girlfriend – pop music legend Madonna, with whom he eventually toured and performed with at Super Bowl XLVI. Having just completed stints as the musical director and lead guitarist for Adam Lambert’s Glam Nation Tour, followed by recording his second studio album Pain, Love and Destiny, playing guitar on Madonna’s MDNA world tour which became the top grossing tour of 2012, and most recently completing a full length album produced by legendary Metallica producer Flemming Rasmussen, Pittman is taking time out to teach tomorrow’s stars the art that he has taught to today’s stars.

Pittman will engage in a Q&A session with the students to talk to them about life as a professional recording artist and being on tour with Madonna, as well as a jam with the students. Then, he and representatives from Moksha Yoga LA will unveil the brand new instruments being donated to Pio Pico Middle School.
