Every artist, as a creator, feels the distinct urge to participate in something that helps them give back something to the community. Monte Pittman is no exception. Monte’s beloved cause is Little Kids Rock, an organization that provides free musical instruments and music instruction to public school children.

Little Kids Rock’s mission is simply to restore and revitalize music education in schools. It’s no surprise Monte holds this cause so dear to his musical heart. After all, he’s the greatest example of the kind of power that music holds.

Through Little Kids Rock, Monte has recently performed his music for the children at the Belvedere Middle School in Los Angeles, California. His appearance was so popular that he was even invited back as the keynote speaker for Belvedere’s annual commencement ceremony.
